Can you get that 5-star character or raid gear in time? Find out.

What is a "Pity System"?

In "gacha" games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, a "pity system" is a safety net. It guarantees you will receive a high-rarity (5-star) item or character after a certain number of "pulls" (attempts).

For example, in Genshin, you are guaranteed a 5-star character within 90 pulls. If you "lose" your first 5-star to a standard character, your next one is *guaranteed* to be the featured one. This calculator helps you figure out if you can save enough in-game currency (Primogems or Stellar Jade) to reach your pity goal before the character's limited-time banner ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between "soft pity" and "hard pity"?

Hard Pity is the absolute maximum number of pulls (90 for Genshin/Honkai) before you are 100% guaranteed a 5-star. Soft Pity is the point (around 74-75 pulls) where your *chances* of getting a 5-star dramatically increase with every single pull. Most players get their 5-star during soft pity, well before they hit hard pity.

What does "winning the 50/50" mean?

When you pull a 5-star character, you have a 50% chance for it to be the *featured* banner character and a 50% chance to get a *standard* (permanent) character. If you get the standard character, you've "lost the 50/50." The good news is this means your very next 5-star pull is 100% guaranteed to be the featured character.

Does this calculator include Starglitter/Stardust or event rewards?

No. This tool is a simplified planner that only includes your *guaranteed* daily income (commissions, Welkin/Express pass). It does not include extra pulls from Starglitter/Stardust exchange, exploration, chests, quests, or special event rewards. You will almost always end up with *more* pulls than this calculator shows!
